About GreythornECC

Greythorn Early Childhood Centre (GreythornECC) provides long day care to 40 children per day. It was established in January 1997 with funding from both the City of Boroondara and the National Childcare Strategy.

One of the most important aspects of GreythornECC is that it is a community based centre. This means that profits are directly reinvested into the centre and not portioned out to shareholders or licensees.

Children's needs are always put first, reflected in the employment of experienced and mature staff, the use of regular relief staff should staff fall ill and the constant acquisition of toys and equipment to satisfy the varying needs of our children.
