Toddler Room Team

Nicole Smith

Nicole joined the GreythornECC team in 2009 after having worked in the child care industry for four years running a Toddler Room at a centre near by. She is currently enjoying running the Babies Room for GreythornECC and is loving getting to know all the new children, families and staff.

She hopes to gain the skills to further her qualifications and one day become a kindergarten teacher. Children are her passion and she loves teaching them new things and seeing them grow.

Nicole loves the outdoors and enjoys swimming at the river, motorbike riding and going to the beach with friends and family whenever possible. Her sister has four children and Nicole loves babysitting them and watching them grow. Her parents have inspired her with the sacrifices they made to give her and her two siblings the best opportunities in life. She looks forward to raising her own family one day and maybe travelling through Europe and Australia in the mean time.

Mally Henry

Mally's real name is Marilyn, but has been known as "Mally" since she was very young. She has been with GreythornECC since the Centre opened in 1997 and has been working in the childcare field for over 25 years.

She is happily married with three married children and six grandchildren.

Mally loves the outdoors and enjoys spending time with her family and friends participating in various watersports.

Tess Gillespie

Tess spent the first year of her life in Flowerdale and then grew up on a farm in Eltham. She finished high school in 2007 and had always seen herself working with children.

She started at Greythorn in May 2009 and works part time while doing her Traineeship for her Certificate III in Children's Services which she is expected to complete it in November 2010.

Tess enjoys travelling and has recently been to Malaysia and plans to head to Laos, Vietnam and Thailand for her next trip.
