Incursions at Greythorn
At Greythorn, every term brings new adventures for curious minds and active bodies. We offer a calendar of consistent incursions as well as specialty experiences throughout the year that respond to the children’s emerging passions and complement our program.
From captivating performances and cultural celebrations to hands-on workshops in art, music, sports and active play, our incursions spark joy, build confidence and create memories children carry with them long after the day is done. Best of all, every experience is included at no extra cost to families, because every child deserves the chance to discover something extraordinary.

Monday’s
Happy Feet
Happy Feet is a fun movement incursion led by Caitlin who brings a bright and bubbly energy to each session. It’s full of music, movement, and imaginative play where children explore themed adventures using songs and storytelling. The program supports physical development, confidence, and social skills, and aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standard, helping children enjoy being active while learning and having fun.
Tuesday’s
Hello Yoga Kids
Bec from Hello Yoga Kids runs a beautiful yoga and mindfulness program for our 3YO and 4YO Kindergarten groups each week. Her calm, warm nature helps children recognise and name their emotions, listen to their bodies, and build self-awareness. Bec often weaves her sessions into the current classroom program, creating meaningful connections for the children. A favourite across the centre, she usually visits during rest and relaxation time, guiding children through purposeful, grounding moments.
Wednesday’s
Gymnastics
Our Gymnastics incursion with Mini Monstars is a high-energy, fun-filled program where children can jump, roll, balance, and move with confidence. Through playful, age-appropriate activities, children build strength, coordination, balance, and body awareness in a safe and supportive environment. Each session encourages children to try new skills, experience success, and enjoy being active alongside their friends in a way that feels positive, achievable, and most importantly have fun.
Thursday’s
Jungle Shimmy
Led by Heidi, who has been visiting our centre for more than 10 years, Jungle Shimmy is a vibrant movement and rhythm class that encourages children to explore how their bodies can move. Through music, dance, and cultural rhythms, children develop coordination, balance, and confidence while having plenty of fun.
